Friendly Bruno

As the name implies, we are a rescue out of Mexico. Please go to our website (saveamexicanmutt.org) to learn more about SAMM and our mission to stop the suffering of homeless street dogs.rnrnBruno is not only beautiful on the outside he is a sweetheart on the inside, too! rnrnBruno was rescued from the streets of Guanjuato, GTO, Mexico. He was filthy and super thin. Now, he is neutered, vaccinated, and on his way to a normal weight. Food does not seem to be high on his list of priorities. rnrnWe feel Bruno will do best with other female dogs and gentle/submissive male dogs. He is great with all dogs but a couple of male dogs have ‘gone after’ him. Bruno simply cowers. He does not defend himself. Bless his heart. And, preferably no cats as he would not likely hurt them but he will give chase.rnrnThis dog is currently in foster in Mexico and will be until foster/adoption and transport arrangements can be made to Texas.rnrnIf you are interested in Saving A Mexican Mutt you can submit an online application from our website.rnrnCurrently, we can transport to most major cities in Texas along the I-35 corridor and will meet someone along this same route. We can also fly dogs via the airlines at the new owners expense. Email for pricing.

Why adopt a rescue dog from Mexico?

Suffering is defined by Webster’s Dictionary as ‘to endure death, pain, or distress.’

Suffering is universal; it knows no boundaries.
So, for those compassionate individuals who cannot close their eyes to the suffering of companion animals, adopting a dog from a foreign country is another option, an individual choice, and a very personal decision.

We may not be able to save them all but for those we do rescue and commit to their suffering STOPS.
